LUIS MIGUEL MENOR

Luismi studied at the Asociación de Cocineros de La Costa del Sol but his most solid training in cooking took place at Le Nailhac, restaurant of the Hotel Byblos *****, in Mijas, where he worked for 8 years. Thanks to this, Gourmet Magazine considered him in 2006 as one of the most important sous chefs in the country. It was in 2012 when, working as executive chef, he coincided with César Morales at the Hotel Los Monteros and together they began to devise a project to create a beach bar, which was born in 2015 under the name of La Milla Marbella.
CÉSAR MORALES
Owner and Director of F&B;
César was very clear about his passion for the world of hospitality and catering. He began his training in the sector studying at the international school of Les Roches Marbella. This opened the doors to multiple professional experiences, including the Radisson hotel chain in London and Rafaelhoteles in Baqueira-Beret, and returning to the province of Malaga to specialise in Food and Beverage Management through the Caledonia Golf Resort and Santa Maria Golf Club. He subsequently obtained the position of Food and Beverage Manager at the Hotel Guadalmina ****, but it was at the Hotel Don Carlos ***** where this position was his most important training. From there, he was hired as Corporate Food and Beverage Manager at the Hotel Los Monteros 5*GL where he met Luis Miguel Menor with whom, a few years later, he would embark on a new gastronomic adventure on the beach focused on seafood and wines: La Milla Marbella.
